We are incredibly proud to announce the publication of our latest annual ESG Report. This marks a major corporate milestone for us as it is the very first comprehensive sustainability report published under our new Workdry Group brand identity.
As a business operating in sectors critical to water infrastructure and environmental protection, our commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles is central to how we operate. For us, ESG isn't just a compliance exercise; it is a practical framework that guides how we scale our business responsibly while driving long-term value for our teams, customers, and partners.
Our latest report details the immense progress we made over the last year, demonstrating how we are successfully pairing commercial growth with tangible, positive impacts.
Henry Badman, ESG Manager at The Workdry Group, said
I'm delighted with the progress we've made with ESG over the past year.
This is the second year I have penned this report, and I am heartened by the level of engagement with the topic, the measurable improvements in performance, and our growing ESG Maturity.
2025 Performance Highlights at a Glance
Environmental: Acting on Climate and Resources
The standout achievement of the past year was the development of our Net Zero Routemap. This gives us a definitive, science-based pathway to reduce carbon emissions across our global footprint.
Alongside this long-term strategy, our teams delivered significant, day-to-day operational improvements:
100% Renewable Power: We successfully transitioned our entire UK and European operations to green, renewable electricity supplies.
88% Jump in EV Mileage: We have continued to expand our electric vehicle fleet and infrastructure, clocking over 1.5 million electric miles
23 Million Litres of Wastewater Saved: By scaling up SelTank coverage and expanding our smart water handling solutions, we directly helped our customers prevent millions of litres of wastewater from escaping into natural ecosystems.
Social: Supporting Our People and Communities
This year, we moved with intent from establishing cultural foundations to measuring concrete social impact. A major step forward was the introduction of our first Social Value Baseline, giving us a clear, numbers-driven starting point for tracking our community impact.
£92m in Social Value: Through our localised operations and the official launch of our UK employee volunteering programme, we delivered significant, measurable value to society.
21% Drop in Total Accidents: The group-wide relaunch of our HomeSafe campaign saw incredible engagement, resulting in a dramatic year-over-year improvement in safer working.
Investing in Our Teams: We rolled out our very first group-wide employee engagement survey and invested heavily in our workforce by delivering thousands of professional training days.
Governance: Doing Business the Right Way
Strong governance is the backbone of our operational excellence. This year was all about sharpening our oversight, maximising data transparency, and aligning with global standards.
UN Global Compact: Workdry officially joined the United Nations Global Compact, aligning our operations with universal corporate sustainability principles.
Higher Benchmarking Scores: Our dedication to absolute data transparency was reflected in notable score improvements across both GRESB and EcoVadis independent assessments.
Strategic Integration: We embedded ESG performance metrics directly into our Value Creation Plan (VCP) decision-making process, alongside our major commercial rollouts in Salesforce and sustainable procurement.
