Selwood strengthens Scottish presence with new Inverness branch

Selwood

We are proud to announce the official opening of our brand-new Inverness branch, further expanding Selwood’s reach across Scotland and bringing our specialist water management expertise closer to our customers in the Highlands and North of Scotland.

To mark the milestone, we hosted an official open day on 25th August, bringing together our valued customers, industry partners, and team members to tour the new facility, meet our local engineering team, and explore our expanding capabilities across the region.

Strategically located in Inverness, the branch will enable Selwood to respond more quickly and efficiently to both planned and mission-critical customer requirements in the area. By positioning equipment, expertise and people closer to customers, the new location will help reduce mobilisation distances and strengthen the responsive, dependable service Selwood provides across its nationwide network.

It will also support customers across key sectors including water utilities, infrastructure and industry, providing access to Selwood’s extensive pump and storage rental fleet and Siltbuster waste water treatment solutions, alongside the technical expertise and engineering capability needed to deliver solutions for mission critical water challenges.

The new branch represents a significant expansion of Selwood’s geographical coverage in Scotland, complementing its established locations in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow, and providing an enhanced local presence to support customers across the region in line with their evolving needs.

Neil Jack, Commercial Director (Scotland) at Selwood, said:

The opening of our Inverness branch is an important step in the continued development of our Scottish network. Being closer to our customers matters to us, particularly across a geography as extensive as Scotland, where having equipment and expertise in the right locations can make a real difference to response times.

Inverness significantly strengthens our coverage across the north of Scotland and gives our customers greater access to the specialist people, equipment and support they need, when they need it.

Andrew Daly, UK Managing Director for the Workdry Group, said:

We are delighted to celebrate the opening of our new Inverness branch. This investment demonstrates Selwood and The Workdry Group’s continued commitment to sustainable growth, while our ongoing investment in people, equipment and locations builds the capacity and resilience we need for the future. Inverness is another important milestone in that journey and reinforces our position as a trusted strategic partner for mission-critical water solutions across the UK.

The Inverness branch opening follows continued investment across Selwood’s UK network, including investment in its Bristol facility and the recent opening of our new Specialist Equipment Centre in Stoke-on-Trent. The launch increases Selwood’s nationwide network of branches to 23, further expanding our geographical reach and strengthening local capability to provide a more responsive service and faster mobilisation for customers across the UK.
