Containerised Sludge Solutions / Dewatering

The Siltbuster Filter Press range can rapidly be deployed to sites making them ideal for use on short term projects.

They are also ideal for providing additional/emergency treatment capacity to support existing on-site dewatering facilities, either as a standalone solution or as part of a complete Siltbuster water treatment/dewatering package.

Our presses are, as standard, located on their own dedicated stand enabling the pressed solids (filter cake) to be discharged directly into a standard waste skip. They come complete with an integral feed pump, automatically transferring the sludge into the press.

Solidify XL is a super-absorbent hydrogel for stabilising wet slurries, silts and sludges, transforming them into a solid material which can be stacked and disposed of as a solid waste.

It is an ideal solution for stabilising small volumes of slurry for disposal where volumes make other dewatering solutions non-viable.

For typical applications, between 5 and 15 kg of Solidify XL should be used to stabilise 1 tonne of slurry (dependent on the water concentration and presence of other contaminants).
